Associations

ABATTOIR:

KAMEELDRIFT FRESH MEAT (PTY) LTD is registered at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development as a high throughput abattoir for Beef. We aim to maintain or improve our average score of 93% for our quarterly HAS assessments.

We accomplished a bronze certificate in 2013 and a silver certificate in 2014 in the NAMA PHEPA awards from the Department in the category of high throughput abattoirs.

Kameeldrift Fresh meat also received the special award for the best improved Health Management System in 2014 at the awards.

The abattoir is registered with the Red Meat Abattoir Association as prescribed.

We also receive frequent visits from the South Afriican Meat Industry Company (SAMIC) to ensure our meat classification is well within spec and always adhere to standards as set out by law.

D-BONING PLANT:

Our plant has a Certificate of Acceptability (COA) from the TSWANE Municipality Health Department and receives frequent inspections to ensure that our standards are upheld.

Intertek and Pick n Pay audits conduct yearly audits to ensure that our products and facility still adheres to our customers' requirements.
